Community Prayer

Community Prayer

St. Lucy's is a community that strives to reflect the principles of our Benedictine tradition. We welcome the opportunity to pray for each other in times of difficulty or joy. Prayer requests are encouraged from all members of our community for a particular individual, family or department need. Requests can be shared publicly or privately. Public requests will be viewable for one week on our site; private requests are submitted as private prayer intentions for our Masses and prayer groups.

Prayers

Prayer Sheet for Moms In Prayer for Monday, March 18, 2019. Please join me in the morning at 8 AM, St. Lucy’s Priory chapel.

Praise—Praising God for who He is, His attributes, His name or His character.
(Please no answers to prayer or prayer requests during this time.)
Attribute:  God is glorious
Definition: One having or deserving glory; famous, beauty, splendor, magnificent
Scripture(s): Nehemiah 9:5b-6 Then the Levites, Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah and Pethahiah, said, “Arise, bless the Lord your God forever and ever!
O may Your glorious name be blessed
And exalted above all blessing and praise!
“You alone are the Lord.
You have made the heavens,
The heaven of heavens with all their host,
The earth and all that is on it,
The seas and all that is in them.
You give life to all of them
And the heavenly host bows down before You.; Psalm 72:18-19 Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel,
Who alone works wonders.
And blessed be His glorious name forever;
And may the whole earth be filled with His glory.
Amen, and Amen.;
Psalm 145:5 On the glorious splendor of Your majesty
And on Your wonderful works, I will meditate.;
1 Peter 4:11 Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
