Abba, remember when we were children and our children were little, we would play a silly game called Red Rover, Red Rover. Let someone come over. You saw us create two lines, and then the chosen one would try to break the line of the other team. Help us to imagine a line creating a circle by Moms in Prayer around St. Lucy’s and in that circle of intentionally praying moms we create a hedge of protection for our children, their peers, their friends, their teachers, their administration, their support systems. Although the dark one is striving to lie, steal, and destroy our prayers to you on their behalf, please keep them safe.

As a nation we must confess our wicked ways, we must humble ourselves, we must seek your face, and you will hear from heaven, you will heal our land. With the Holy Spirit inside us, use us to be the source of healing in our nation, let us begin by keeping this campus safe.

Your daughter, Gail

ABBA, please bring more prayer warriors to Moms in Prayer. We have two constant and mighty prayer warriors, but we need more. We have 500 plus young ladies, their families, teachers, administrative staff, and support staff to pray for. But if the evil one is out there lying, stealing and seeking to destroy 24/7 we need more warriors with the intention to pray for your children. Please let everyone look inside themselves and see if they can give the gift of one hour on Monday or Friday mornings from 8-9, it will be the most real hour of their whole week. Your daughter, Gail

October 5, 2018

Good morning and blessings! This prayer request goes out to all St. Lucy’s parents, teachers, staff, and students-for serenity and peace, especially as our seniors are filling out college applications with their parents and discerning their futures.

God grant me the serenity to except the things that I cannot change, courage to change the things that I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time, accepting hardships as the pathway to peace, taking as He did this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it. Trusting that he will make all things right if I surrender to His will, that I may be reasonably happy in this life, and supremely happy forever with Him in the next. Amen.

Additionally, I would like to invite those who are able to join our prayer community, Moms In Prayer, to pray-where-you-are or join us in spirit on Fridays! The attribute we are meditating on today, October 5th, is God is the Master Planner.

You may click on the link on the Moms In Prayer page, then select “Prayer Sheets”; scroll through the list of attributes until you find the one we have mentioned for the day. Choose the download format you prefer and the complete prayer page will pop up! Follow the format, as we pray for our children and the school.

May God Bless you all!
Trish Jensen

Heavenly Father,

Three scientists were awarded the Nobel Prize in chemistry for developing new methods that allow microscopes see finer details than they ever could before. Lord, liberate us to believe in being limitless, in being ourselves, and in not setting limits to our potential. As science set a boundary on the microscope and human development it only took the power of an individual to believe in something more, to crest new possibilities for technology. Let us remember that all things are possible when we trust in you. Amen
