Boutique Parent Donation Information

 

Boutique is one of the school’s major fundraising events. Participation by parents, students, faculty, staff and other supporters is essential to the event’s success.

Parents can learn more about this event at the Parent Club Boutique Kick-off meeting on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 7 p.m. in the Regent Resource Center.

Boutique Parent & Student Requirements & Deadlines

We need the help of every St. Lucy’s family to make our Christmas Boutique a success. Working together, we can make this year’s event memorable for everyone!

Parents:
A $40 monetary donation or a festive, holiday-themed bought or hand-crafted donation that can be sold for $40 or more.

To make an even bigger impact, become a sponsor of a Boutique Shoppe or Food Booth for $200. All sponsors will be recognized on our North Pole Food Court banner and on signage posted in front of the shoppe or booth that you have sponsored.

Sponsorships help fulfill your Boutique requirement and underwrite operational costs for the booth or shoppe. Contact the Office of Advancement at (626) 963-0017 for more information.

Early Donation Deadline: Thursday, October 13, 2016
Final Deadline: Thursday, October 27, 2016

Students*:
Freshmen and Sophomores are required to donate at least one baked good or dessert item

Juniors and Seniors are required to donate at least one plant delivered directly to the Amphitheater breezeway

Student Deadline – Friday, November 4, between 7:30 a.m. & 8:00 a.m.

* These donations are in addition to the parent donation requirement.

Parents & Students: Please deliver your edible treat donations (pastries, cakes, cookies, pies, candies, breads and homemade jams & jellies – no chocolate chip cookies!) to the second level kitchen by Friday, November 4 between 8 a.m and 2 p.m. or Saturday, November 5 between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. All large donations should have donor and item information for recording purposes.

Booths & Shoppes

There’s something for everyone at our Boutique! Here is a list of shoppes that will be open for your shopping and eating enjoyment at our event. This list will also give you ideas for your donation:

Holiday Home – Holiday-themed home décor accessories and gifts. Main Foyer – Beautiful tree ornaments and themed wreaths.

Regent Spirit Shoppe – Wide selection of St. Lucy’s specialty items – sweatshirts, ornaments, coffee mugs, parent shirts, etc. This shoppe is sponsored by our St. Lucy’s Alumnae.

Plant Shoppe – Indoor and outdoor plants, along with garden and outside décor.

Santa’s & Children’s Shoppe – Photos with Santa, holiday craft projects for kids and handcrafted gifts for young shoppers.

St. Lucy’s Doll Shoppe – Over 70 handcrafted, one-of-a-kind St. Lucy’s dolls priced at $100 each. Customizable dolls will also be available for $135 and doll accessories will be sold separately.

North Pole Food Court & Gourmet Shoppe – A variety of tasty foods & specialty treats will be available for sale – hamburgers, hot dogs, homemade international cuisine, carnival treats and more. In our Gourmet Shoppe, different and unique items such as Gourmet Bean Soup, jars of Christmas Cookie Mixers and Snowman Soup are big sellers. (Donations of baked goods should be wrapped in clear cellophane with a bow and include a description label.)

Donations for Baskets

Donating a basket full of goodies or items to include in baskets (worth $40 or more) is one way to fulfill your donation requirement:

Ideas for Basket Donations (only non-perishable items will be accepted):

  • Christmas & Thanksgiving-themed items
  • Bottled Beverages – wine, beer, liquor, unique non-alcoholic drinks
  • Bath & Body Items
  • Kitchen – glassware, baking tools, decorative dishes
  • Outdoor – BBQ items, garden tools & decorations, pet items
  • Family – Board games, movies & treats, small sports & beach items, kid’s toys
  • Food – Jams, cheese, crackers, candies, cookies, coffee & tea
  • Unusual containers to fill with items: baskets, colanders, ceramic bowls, etc.

Please check expiration dates on all food items. Please note that we do not accept any items that need refrigeration.
